McGRIFF, Betty Jo Northington, age 77, a resident of Prattville, AL passed away Monday, January 30, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Major (Dept. of Public Safety) Gordon L. McGriff, Jr.; parents,Lois Dickson Roy Northington and William Reeks Northington; one sister, Frances Harrell; two brothers, Adolphus and John Wesley Northington. Survivors include one son, Gordon “Mac” (Karen) McGriff, III; three daughters, Linda (Doug) Mulder, Brenda (Stuart) Mitchell and Alice McGriff Drew; grandchildren, Douglas Adam Mulder, Allison Driskell, Summer McGriff, Barrett Hayden Mitchell and Coleman Gordon Drew; two brothers, Charles W. and James L. Northington. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 11:00 AM from Ridout’s Prattville Chapel with Pastor Ray Weaver officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:30 AM until service time at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens. Cystic Fribosis Foundation.
