

Carol L. Domingus, 53, a Prattville resident, passed away Thursday September 15, 2016. Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM Sunday September 18th at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel followed by a Celebration of Life service with military honors at 4:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Emily Abbott officiating. Carol will be laid rest at 10:00 AM Monday September 19th. at Alabama National Cemetery, 3133 Hwy 119 Montevallo, Alabama 35115.
She was born on August 29, 1963 in Beaufort, South Carolina to Richard and Esther Thompson. She was a U.S. Air Force veteran and worked in the nursing field as a certified medical assistant. She enjoyed outdoor actives including grilling, gardening and trips to the beach. She also enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family and friends.
She will always be remembered for her kindness and willingness to help anyone in need.
Carol was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Thompson and is survived by her husband Michael Domingus of Prattville; her son and daughter in law, Jimmie Lee and Autumn Rogers of Los Angeles, CA., her parents, Richard and Esther Thompson of Gladstone, MI; two sisters, Justine Thompson of Gladstone, MI, Patricia Hurschik of St. Clair Shores, MI.; a brother and sister in law, Scott and Nora Thompson of Lainsburg, MI.; a niece, Esther Sue Trojan and her husband Kenny of St. Clair Shores, MI.; two nephews, Jeremy Hurschik of St. Clair Shores, MI., John Hurschik, II of Summersville, SC., two stepsons, Michael Wayne Domingus, Jr. of Prattville, Jeremy Benjamin Domingus of Ft. Campbell, KY.; and a host of friends.
