Clyde Smith, 69, of Montgomery, passed away Wednesday June 15, 2016 after a brief illness. Graveside funeral services will be held Friday 10:00 AM June 17th at the Big Spring Baptist Church Cemetery in Billingsley, Alabama with Pastor Johnny Wood officiating.
Mr. Smith was a U.S. Army Vietnam War era veteran. He was a highly skilled sheet metal worker and former owner of his own sheet metal business. He enjoyed turkey hunting and was a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation.
He is survived by two sons and two daughters in law; Jason and Connie Smith, Terry and Stacie Summerow; grandchildren, Haley and Tabor Smith, Lisa Butler and Katie Summerow. Visitation will be held Thursday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel.
