Doris Blackwell, age 85, of Prattville, Alabama passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023. Doris Maria Blackwell, 85, of Prattville, Alabama, passed away October 8, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy E. Blackwell, Sr.; grandson, Devin O’Neal Mackey and parents, Robert G. and Barbara Prestele.

She is survived by her children, Diane McFarland (Stephen), Billy E. Blackwell Jr., Barbara I. Browning (Paul), Brian Blackwell (Evelyn), Djuna E. Livingston (Daniel), Denise N. Cook (Jimmy) and Tina M. DeLong-Blackwell (Michelle); grandchildren, Christopher (Wayne) Mackey (Leslie), Eric Mackey, (Shannon) Ethan Livingston, Timmy Day, Rob Day, Kenny Day (Aden), Priscilla Wilson (Dylan), Alyssa Morris (Robert), Christina Blackwell, Mechelle Tyson (Kevin), Daniel Burkett, Nicholas Burkett, Joshua Seale (Stephanie), Lauren Fishbaum (Christoph), Irina Seale, Maria Seale, Michael Seale, Josef Seale. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Christopher (Paul) Mackey, Gabriel Mackey, Devin (Wyatt) Mackey, James Day, Emma Day, Anna Fishbaum, Aries Wilson, Zelda Wilson, Madison Tyson, Kevin Tyson, Blake Tyson, Alex Tyson, Jackson Burkett, and a great great grandchild, Remi Mackey.

A visitation for Doris will be held Friday, October 13, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 511 N. Memorial Drive, Prattville, Alabama 36067, followed by a funeral mass at 2:00 PM.
