Eugeina T. Ford

FORD, Eugenia T. , 83, a Prattville resident, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2012. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 21st from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM followed by funeral services at 11:00 AM at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel with the Reverend Randall Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in Prattville Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Ford was born August 7, 1928 to the late C.L. Tims, Sr and Mary Flora Williams Tims. She was a long time member of the Prattmont Baptist Church and served for many years as a registered nurse. After her retirement, she served in many volunteer positions including Prattville Baptist Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters C.L Tims, Jr, Julian Tims, Polly Brabham and Mary Frances Davis. Survivors include her husband Edward Ford, two daughters and a son-in-law; Joy and Tony Sciortino of Mobile, Jane Ford of Pelham; two sons and daughters-in-law; Joe and Ramona Ford of Alabaster, Mark and Kandie Ford of Prattville; a sister, Sarah T. Shirley; five grandchildren; Mandi Sciortino, Jared Ford, Ashley Ford, Melissa Ford, Zach Sciortino; a great granddaughter, Ava Deupree; and a host of nieces, nephews brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and extended family members.

In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made to the Prattmont Baptist Church 814 Smith Avenue, Prattville, Alabama, 36067 or to the Baptist Children’s Home and Family Ministries 2681 Rocky Ridge Lane, Birmingham, Alabama 35216.
