OATES, Frances Jewell, 90, a resident of Prattville, AL, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2011. She is survived by six daughters, Betty (Paul) Hudgins, Doris Popham, Joann Hewitt, Peggy Denis, Myrtle Oates, Shelia (James) Chance; three sons, Jimmy (Mary) Oates, Ricky (Diane) Oates, Joey (Melissa) Oates; sister, Daisy Cox; twenty grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Brandon Gentry, Derek Green, Christopher Popham, Josh White, Jason Gentry and Joseph Wesson. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel with Bro. Billy Driver and Bro. Keith Chandler officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
