Gina Spurlock

Gina Spurlock, 60, of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away October 26, 2025. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Spurlock Jr (Sara) and her mother, Theresa Carrin Spurlock. She is survived by her two children, Lance Mitchell Hunter (Nicole) and Holley Marie Barnes (Shawn); grandchildren Hayden and Vanessa Hunter; siblings, Katherine Wilkes (Dan), Ava Dirickson (Jeff) and Frank Spurlock (Trish). She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, extended family and her "honorary" sister, Pam Killough.

Gina was a Barber for over 40 years. She graduated from John Paterson, and she went on to own her own Barber Shop. Gina enjoyed life to the fullest and touched many people along the way. She loved her two children and grandchildren deeply. She was a woman of many talents, from crafts, jewelry making, painting, cooking and wreath making for her family and friends. She was never afraid to try something new including a new recipe.

Gina loved the Lord. She sent out the KLove verse of the day each day to her family and friends. She was always willing to help anyone and made many friends along with the way. She also loved animals also.

Gina was deeply loved and will be dearly missed but would want everyone to find comfort in her favorite bible verse – Philippians 4:7 “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

A Celebration of Life will be held at Sunset Ridge Barn, located at 1629 Upper Kingston Road, Prattville, AL 36067, on November 3, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
