John Murray "Johnny" Clifton Jr.

John Murray “Johnny” Clifton, Jr., 63, of Autaugaville, Alabama passed away Tuesday March 6, 2018. Visitation was at 6:00 PM Friday March 9th at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel followed by a Celebration of Life service at 7:30 PM in the funeral home chapel.

Johnny was born on January 7, 1955 in Washington, D.C. to John Murray Clifton, Sr. and Anna Marie Langley Clifton. He was a master mechanic and enjoyed life on the Alabama River. He also enjoyed boating, cooking, playing cards and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Chrystal Dawn Pugh, his father, John Clifton, Sr. and his brother, Dale Clifton. He is survived by his daughter, Stacy Lynn Clifton of Aquasco, Maryland; grandchildren, Kayci Pugh and Giovanni Gray; his mother, Anna Marie Clifton of Prattville; two sisters and brothers in law, Bonnie and Arthur Dempsey of Hillsborough, North Carolina, Adaline and David Wiedemann of Enterprise, Alabama; his brother and sister in law, Alfred and Sherry Clifton of Montgomery, Alabama and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and close friends.
