McGaha, John William “Bill,” 68, departed this life on Monday, April 2, 2012. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Leon and Elsie McGaha, and his wife, Peggy. He is survived by his son, Robert; his brother, Doug; three grandchildren, Zachary, Camryn, and Lauren; his uncle, Elton McGaha; and his aunt, Verdelle Robbins. Bill was a member of White Pond Baptist church and will be missed by his church family. In lieu of flowers, please give to the White Pond Baptist Church Cemetery Fund. Visitation will be held at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel on Thursday, April 5 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 6 at 11:00am at White Pond Baptist Church with Rev. Woodrow Turner and Rev. Lamar Lyon officiating. Pallbearers will be Dexter Lyon, James Lyon, Chip Powell, Horace Powell, Joe Powell, and Roger Taylor. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gillen Brown, Milton Donovan, Pete Huett, Jerry Johnson, Junius Kendrick, and Toby Litaker.
