Joyce D. Edwards, age 85, of Montgomery, Alabama, formally of Elmore County, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Edwards and brothers, Robert L. Donaldson and Johnny Donaldson. She is survived her children, Carl Y. Edwards (Sharon), Teresa Rains, Rebecca Ward (Henry) and Rodney P. Edwards (Beth); grandchildren, Heath Ward, Brittany Crandall, Gavin McClure and Nolan Nelson. She is also survived by her brother Richard Donaldson.
Joyce was a wonderful seamstress who also loved to bake. She also taught Sunday School and VBS. She loved children and currently had been sewing children's dresses for an orphanage in Uganda.
A graveside for Joyce will be held Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Shoal Creek Cemetery, Deatsville, Alabama.
