Kathryn Barton Hill

Kathryn Barton Hill, of Prattville, AL., age 67, of Prattville, Alabama, passed away peacefully at home on January 13, 2026. She was born on June 28, 1959, in Perry County, Alabama, to Richard and Ann Barton.

Kathi was a loving wife, devoted mother, and cherished grandmother. A faithful Christian, she lived her life with warmth, kindness, and a deep love for her family. Her greatest joy was being Grandmama, and she devoted her time, love, and energy to them. She showed up for every big milestone and all the small moments in between, always putting her grandchildren first. Kathi’s infectious spirit and unwavering devotion to those she loved will be remembered by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Ann Barton. Kathi is survived by her husband, Steve Hill; children, Burton Yeargan (Heather), Laura Yeargan Bohannon (Brad), Kathryn Yeargan Cooper (Brad), Chris Hill (Betty), and Stephanie Hill; brother, Brad Barton; and her grandchildren, Adrian, James, and Owen Yeargan; Bradley and Mary Scott Bohannon; John Hollis, Anne, and Caroline Cooper; Brodie, Charles, Jack, and Thomas Hill.

A visitation will be held at Ridout's-Brown-Service Prattville, located at 347 East Main Street, Prattville, AL 36067, on January 15, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The funeral service will take place at Ridout's-Brown-Service Prattville Chapel, 347 E Main St, Prattville, Alabama 36067, on January 16, 2026, starting at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Oakhill Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers are Brad Bohannon, Brad Cooper, Scott Barton, Brodie Hill, Charles Hill, Josh McNeely and Chris Hill
