

Leo Laslie Felder, of Deatsville, Alabama, passed away on April 28, 2025, at the age of 63. Born in Montgomery, Alabama, on October 6, 1961, Leo lived a life filled with kindness, service, and unwavering love for his family.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Melissa Felder; six children: Christen (Martin), Nick (Megan), Rachel (Scott), Jake, Timmy (Jade), and Josh (Lena); twelve grandchildren: Cereana, Tristan, Ian, Zoe, Preston, Jordan, Allie, Sarah, Gage, Logan, Ella, and Skylor; and two great-grandchildren, Amori and Zayne. He also leaves behind three brothers, Paul Jr., Joe, and Bill and one sister, Ann along with many beloved family members, dear friends, and his lifelong friends, Jody Summerlin, CJ Falcione, and Charles Hammett.
Leo is preceded in death by his parents, Paul C. Felder Sr. and Gwena Wayne Felder; his brother, Stan Felder; and his grandson, Gage McComack.
Leo devoted his life to helping others by building and repairing wheelchairs for individuals with disabilities, a calling that earned him recognition in the local newspaper and deep gratitude from the community he served.
He was an avid fisherman and found purpose in being a steady source of support for his children and grandchildren. Known affectionately as the "world's best Pap Pap," Leo took great pride in his role as a grandfather. He also loved traveling with his wife, cherishing the memories they created together.
A visitation for Leo will be held Sunday, May 4, 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Ridout's-Brown-Service Prattville, 347 East Main Street, Prattville, AL 36067. Following the visitation will be a celebration of life at 3:00 PM at Ridout's-Brown-Service Prattville Chapel, 347 E Main St, Prattville, Alabama 36067.
