Linda Cherie Parker was born on June 30, 1948, to Martha Pate Pittman and Cecil Pittman, in Pensacola, FL. She leaves behind her sons Mark (Michelle) Thompson, Brett (Lesley) Thompson, grandsons Cameron and Cole, and brother Jeff (Debbie) Pittman, brother-in-law Tom Phelps and step-brother Edwin (Celia) Roberts. Linda was preceded in death by her mother, father, husband, Wayne Parker, brother, Wayne Pittman, and sisters, Cecilia Price and Kati Phelps.
Born into an artistic family, Linda was the third of five children. She enjoyed singing in harmony with her sisters and brothers. She also enjoyed singing in church and in the church choir. Linda loved to write poetry. She loved her family. Linda had a great sense of humor and enjoyed laughing. She especially enjoyed laughing with (not at) her sons.
A memorial service will begin at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 18th at Glynwood Baptist Church in Prattville, AL.
