
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Frank and Jessie Hanson; her brother, Earl Hanson; and her husband, James W. Dugan Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving children, James Dugan (Judy), Sherri Nichols (Bryan), and Ronnie Dugan; her sister, Joyce Howdeshell; her grandchildren, Michael Dugan, Chris Dugan, and Jessie Lynn Nichols; and her great-grandchildren, Leo Dugan and Mara Dugan. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.
Mrs. Dugan was a woman of strong Christian faith and a devoted member of Booth Methodist Church, where she faithfully played the piano for many years. She was known for her exceptional sense of humor, her wisdom, and her unwavering love for her family and community. A truly blessed and highly favored woman of God, she touched the lives of all who knew her.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026 from 1:00PM until 2:00 PM at Ridouts Prattville Chapel, 347 E. Main St., Prattville, AL. 36067, with a graveside to follow at 2:30PM at Booth Cemetery with Rev. Reggie Evans officiating.
Her legacy of faith, kindness, and joy will live on in the hearts of those she loved.
