SLOAN, Margaret Alene, age 92, a resident of Prattville, AL passed away Sunday, August 14, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard C. Sloan. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, David and Joyce Sloan of Savannah, GA; three daughters and sons-in-law, Ann & George Edmondson of Jefferson, GA, Mary and Joe Hicks of Millbrook, AL and Peggy and Geoff Colt of Exeter, RI; nine grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 16, 2011 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel. Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at 10:00 AM from Ridout’s Prattville Chapel with Pastor David Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Memorial Gardens in Millbrook, AL. Pallbearers will be her son, grandsons and sons-in-law.
