She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey Burdell, Emma Mae Smith, Hiram Smith; husbands, John Carl Daniel and Noah Jack Smith; brother, Byron Smith; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mae Jean Burdell, Mattie Florance Burdell, Margaret Magaline Burdell, Eva (Jessie) Smith, Violet (Bill) Carroll; son, Phillip Daniel; daughter, Linda Byrd; sons-in-law, Kenneth Whitehead, Richard Corley; grandchildren, Paul Gary Carr, Craig Anthony Carr.

She is survived by an aunt, Ruth Smith; sister, Beatrice Smith, Edna Daniel; children, Eula Mae Corley, Sandra Whitehead, Patricia Daniel, Douglas Byrd; grandchildren, Gordan (Janet) Corley, Phillip Ira (Doris) Carr, John A. Carr, Anna Jordan (Bobby), Kevin (Francis) Carr, Lisa Self, Donna Little, Pamela Otinger (Sissy), Mark (Stacey) Daniel, Brad (Missy) Daniel, Rusty (Sandy) Daniel, Dougie (Marcia) Byrd, Julie (Steve) Steward, Ben (Shana) Byrd, Keenie (Will) Lee, Michelle (Thomas) Davis; numerous loving great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and great great great grandchildren, many loving nieces and nephews, a host of other family and friends.

A very special thank you goes out to the Montgomery Hospice Staff for all of the kindness and loving care given to our mother/grandmother during our family’s time of need.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 3, 2013 with Rev. Winston Brooks officiating. Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
