Maxine Penton was preceded by; her loving husband of 48 years, Henry Penton, her parent's, Claude Thornton and Ethel Thornton, along with her sister, Mondine Foshee.
Ms.Penton was survived by her four daughters; Janice Dasinger(Joel), Marie Johnson(Charles), Emily Penton, along with Florence Paulene(mom called her an adopted daughter), six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; Shannon and Robbie Everett (Nicholas, Sam, Maxine), Jodie and Tim Brooks (Greggory), Alton and Jen Land(Jude), Wendy and Doug Ishee (Alexa, Kaitlyn), Alison Applebee (Gunner, Ali Grace) and Adam Johnson (Kamden, Kaelan), one great great-grandson, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Maxine was a talented artist and a longtime member of Autaugaville United Methodist Church. Maxine Thornton Penton was loved by many and will be missed by all.
A visitation for Maxine will be held Friday, June 1, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Autaugaville United Methodist Church, 207 S. Autauga Street., Autaugaville, AL 36003. A funeral service will occur Friday, June 1, 2018 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM, 207 S. Autauga Street., Autaugaville, AL 36003.
