Visitation and Home Going Celebrations will be held Wednesday July 16 at 1030: AM at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel with his brother, Chris Hunter serving as Celebrant and remembrances shared by friends.
He is survived by his wife, Libby; sister and brother in law, Sandra and Tony Wallace; two brothers and a sister in law, George “Buster” Mayo, Jr., Chris and Elizabeth Hunter; uncle and aunt, Virgil and Beverly Hunter; a close cousin, Danny Hunter; nieces and nephews, Buddy, Skylar, Ashley, Madisan, Ryan and Kevin.
Michael was devoted to his family and friends. He was the hub of a good time and known to have strong opinions about matters which were close to him. He loved living in Alabama and was an avid Auburn football fan. He was gifted in music and was a roadie with the Allman Brothers and Jimmy Hendrix bands.
