Miriam "Loretta" Evans

Miriam “Loretta” Evans, 85, of Prattville, Alabama and formally of the Vida community, passed away July 26, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Alvin Evans, Sr.; grandson, David Michael Evans Jr.; parents, Percy and Sallie Hill; brothers, Robert Glenn Hill and Donald Hill and sister, Augusta Gray. She is survived by her children, Henry Alvin Evans Jr. (Kathy), David Evans (Cindy) and Benita Evans Lee; grandchildren, Josh Evans (Amy), Preston Wallace (Sarah), Lee Zaner III, Peyton Woods, Evan Walls, Marshall Walls (Brooke), Payton Johnson (Lance), Alexis Evans and Nolan Evans; great grandchildren, Kensley Evans, Paisley Roney, Emmilee Bush and Oliver Evans. She is also survived by her siblings, Diann Ziglar and Tommy Hill (Mary Sue; sister in law Barbara Hill and numerous nieces and nephews.

Loretta loved her family, fishing, flowers and plants. She kept many children over the years. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

Services for Loretta will be Sunday, July 30, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Ridouts Prattville Chapel with the visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow at Durden Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Holder, Travis Burnette, Jackson Hill, Jason Hill, Judson Hill and Glenn Hill. Travis Coleman officiating.
