Patricia Narrows DuBose

Patricia Narrows DuBose died January 13, 2024. She was born in Montgomery, AL on August 23, 1946 to Verna Jack and Parker Alfred Narrows, who preceded her in death. After graduating from Sidney Lanier High School she earned a degree in Fine Arts from Auburn University where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She spent many years teaching art, eventually retiring from Montgomery Public Schools. Her pride and joy were her family, especially her precious grandsons and thrived creating incredible landscapes at her beloved family homes.

She is survived by her children, Ashley DuBose Ledbetter and Richard Narrows DuBose (Elizabeth); grandsons, Christopher Darnell Ledbetter, Jr. and Parker Narrows Ledbetter; sister, Rebecca Narrows Bender (Ted); nephew, Theodore Jackson Bender, IV (Lindsay); niece, Jessica Denton Bender and great nephews, Teddy and Row Bender.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 18th at 1:00 PM in Stegall Fellowship Hall at The First United Methodist Church with a memorial service following at 2:00 PM in main sanctuary of The First United Methodist Church with Dr. Karl Stegall, Rev. Ben McDavid and Rev. Lucas Tribble officiating. A private family burial will take place and pallbearers will be Jackson Bender, Gavin Bernstein, McDowell Crook, Connally DuBose, Chris Ledbetter, Jr, Parker Ledbetter, Rick McBride, Jr., Jody McInnes, Dave Reaves and Fred Williams.
