Thomas Richard “Rick” Franklin, 64, of Prattville, passed away January 20, 2021. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was preceded in death by his father, J.T. Franklin, mother, Betty Franklin and sister, Robin Franklin. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Franklin; children, Austin Franklin (Charissa), Alina Edwards (Eric), Sonya Taylor and Cassy Anderson (Mike); siblings, Kenny Franklin (Robyn), Suzanne Rucks (Jeff) and Cindy Franklin. He is also survived by his precious grandchildren, Alexis Cowan, Michael Hurst Jr. and Elishama Edwards.
A visitation will be held Sunday, January 24, 2021 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at Ridouts Prattville Funeral Home. Please wear a mask. A private graveside service for family will be held January 25, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Oakhill Cemetery.
