Ruth Darden Sheffer

Ruth Darden Sheffer, 97, a resident of Foley, AL passed away Sunday, June 16, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, William D. Sheffer; two sisters and two brothers. She is survived by one son and daughter in law, William D., Jr. and Elaine Sheffer; one daughter and son in law, Betty and Cirous Farahrooz; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; one brother, James E. Darden; a special sister in law, Helen Sheffer and a special friend, Sandi Mills plus numerous nieces and nephews. She worked as a nurse in Prattville for over 40 years, primarily working in Dr. W.E. Parker's office. She was much loved by everyone that knew her. Visitation will be at Ridout's Prattville Chapel on Friday June 21st from 11:30 until 1:00 pm Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 pm. The family request that in lieu of flowers anyone wishing to honor her memory make memorial contributions to their favorite charity. Ridout's Prattville Chapel directing
