Bryan William Kane

Bryan William Kane February 12, 1951 - June 19, 2014 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Bryan William Kane on Thursday, June 19, 2014. Bryan passed away from a massive pulmonary embolism in the arms of his beloved wife of 40 years, Barbara, with his loyal friend and companion Roxy at his side. Bryan was a long time resident of Prince George and was a well known and respected member of the local business and construction community. Bryan and Barb sold their business, W.R. Ventures Ltd., seven years ago, and have enjoyed every moment of their retirement together since. Bryan was often seen on the golf course here and in California at their winter home. A special thank you goes out to the first responders for their heroic efforts, and to Dr. Khalid Javed, Dr. Laurie Cook and Dr. Lea Manraj. Bryan's many friends and relatives will miss his radiant smile, calm and gentle demeanor, and warm and friendly heart. No service is planned, but Barb would like Bryans' friends to celebrate his life in their own way. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Prince George Hospice Society or your local S.P.C.A. would be greatly appreciated.
