Darel Lester Martell, 74, passed away on December 26, 2025. Darel is survived by his loving wife Georgette, son Vince (Shannon, Zac, Ben), daughter Heather (Steve, Ty, Emma, Jase, Logan) and his ten brothers and sisters. He was predeceased by his parents Lillian Joyce and Leo Paul Martell, his brother Leo Martell, and his sisters Denise Work and Simone Lindstrom.
The family would like to extend our gratitude to the Buckhorn Fire Department and the ICU staff at UHNBC. There will be a celebration of life at 1:00 pm on January 3rd at Nelly’s Pub Banquet Hall followed by a luncheon and tea service.
