Davis was a very caring young man. Family was everything to him. He was our protector and cared so much for his sister, brother, and nephew. It meant alot to him when family was all together. Holidays were definitely something Davis looked forward to. Family getting together and, of course, presents to open, were always a highlight. He enjoyed eating his Nana's cooking and playing basketball with his uncles. Davis had a love of animals and always bonded with them.
When he was younger, really not that long ago, we spent our days at the skatepark, sometimes until late at night while Davis would ride his scooter and his brother would skateboard. Davis would practice tricks until he had mastered them. He was so proud when he learned a new trick that he would go back with his cousin Caleb and show him and they would do routines together.
Davis was such an amazing young man in all he did and the energy he had was magnetic to everyone. Everyone was just drawn to him, especially the ladies. Davis was always down to learn new things and loved nothing more than a challenge, just to prove that anything can be done. He was a daredevil, a help to all, and a true warrior. His character was one of a kind. He had a love that never will be forgotten and will always live on. Davis stuck up for anyone who needed help. He was a very trustworthy and loyal young man.
There will be a service of remembrance for Davis on Wednesday March 29 at 12:30 pm at Assman's Funeral Chapel.
