It is with heavy hearts that we
announce the passing of Julie
Kim Thomson (Barnard) of
Prince George, BC. Julie
passed away at the young age
of 54 at the University Hospital
of Northern British Columbia.
She enjoyed every moment with her boys and
grandkids. She had a “heart of gold” and had so
much love for her family. She touched the hearts
of many and we will all remember her laughter,
baking with her grandkids, her love of animals
and loving spirit.
She leaves behind her parents, Ernie and Sandy
Thomson, her three boys, whom she was very
proud of; Gregory Wayne Douglas Barnard,
Bradley Dale Barnard (Crystal Barnard) and
Aaron Joseph Andrew Barnard (Melissa
Barnard). Her grandchildren: Sydney, Brooklynn,
Braden and Emersynn. Her sister Laurie Smilie,
brother Doug Thomson (Michele Thomson) and
many extended family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday
January 28, 2017 from 11:00am - 3:00pm at the
Prince George Legion located at 1116 6th
