Kenneth James Docherty

Ken was born in Lacombe, Alberta on April 22 1951 and passed away peacefully at UHNBC on Oct 26th 2023.

Predeceased by mother Lola; father James; sister Myrnel and brother Earl.

He is survived by his loving wife Sherri; sons Jason (NiNA) and Justin; sisters Gwen and Laurie and all his special nieces and nephews who adored him.

His family, the many people he worked for and his friends will miss him tremendously but he will never be forgotten.

You could find him at the ballpark or the hockey rink devoting his time to be an amazing father or being a great friend out golfing, fishing or just lending a hand. His smile, his heart and his hugs were as big as his fish tales.

There won’t be a service as per his request but next spring we will have a Celebration of Life at his favorite spot “The Firepit”.
