Mark Olav Petersen born on May 18, 1957, passed away on January 13, 2020 at the young age of 63. Left behind with many wonderful memories are his children; Mike(Hunter) And Alia (Joel) and his three beautiful grandchildren Elliot, Atticus and Ellie. Also his sister Erin and many other family and friends. Mark left his home in Ontario at the age of 17 to join the navy. Shortly after that he moved to the town of Mackenzie, BC where he spent the next 40 years raising his family and working at the pulp mill. In his free time he loved to be in his woodshop or out on one of his motorcycles. He was very proud of his children and grandchildren. He will always be remembered for his big heart and his enormous sense of humor. In keeping with Mark's wishes, no services will be held.
