Mike passed away peacefully at UHNBC surrounded by family. He always kept a positive outlook during his 2 ½ year battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Helen and daughter, Michelle. Also stepchildren; Dan (Wilma), Brian, Jeff, Neva (Pat) and Jeanine. He also leaves sisters Judi Alexander and Diane Henzel along with many other close family members and friends. Predeceased by granddaughter, Kendall Moore, and stepson Mark Porawner and parents Leonard and Barbara (Tingley) Moore. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at 1:00pm at Lakewood First Memorial Funeral Home 1055 Ospika Boulevard, Prince George, BC. No flowers by request please. Donations can be made in Mike’s name to the Prince George Hospice Society.
