Found at a thrift store in Fargo, N.D.  This represents to me a spirit I never knew who saw the beauty in life.  Her vision lives on in many of you who loved deeply.  I appreciate her energy every time I reflect upon this mere piece of wood.  She saw beauty and has taught me how to see it once again also.  Try not to just observe rather perhaps see the possibilities that life offers us everyday.  Thank you Pia Lund for the marks you left on this world.  Be blessed 😇

Pia was a very dear friend.  She and I met in 2011 in Barcelona where she had spine surgery.  We became friends from the start.  Her strength and determination were apparent from the beginning.  She refused pain medications after her spine surgery!  She wanted to be clear headed in a foreign country.

As the years past we really developed a great relationship.  Pia had a ferociousness that was uncompromising.  There was never an obstacle nor person that could stand in her way.  Even so, she was generous and kind to those who were true to her.  

If Pia loved you she made sure you knew it.  I am honored to be one of those loved people.  I miss you like crazy my friend.



I am very sorry to hear about Pia's passing.  She was a business acquaintance of mine in the Prince George area.  She was an impressive and memorable friend and business associate.  She wasn't afraid to ask for advice and was a good listener when it was offered.  She was fiercely independent and did not take kindly to condescending comments.  She overcame many obstacles in her all too short life and kept on going.  

She was a good friend once she decided I was on her side and we enjoyed a mutually respectful relationship.  Good luck in Valhalla Pia!
