He is survived by his daughter Stacy (Greg); brother Barry (Bonnie); and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is survived by in-laws, Al and Rich Mackay.
Ray became an Instrument Technician graduating from NAIT in Edmonton. He and Mary moved to Fort McMurray and later moved to Prince George and worked at Intercon Pulp and Paper. He was a founder of Interior Offroad in 1974 and was a key driving force to grow the business to 3 branches in Western Canada. Ray retired in 2007.
Ray was always up to a challenge, he fished, hunted, snow skied, water skied, snowmobiled, owned pack horses, and was a scuba diver. He took up golf and aviation and enjoyed many social outings with like-minded friends. He recently told a family member that “there is really nothing that I feel that I have missed doing”.
Ray said that he deeply appreciated comments from friends and relatives on the Group website.
Thank you to all for the support and kindness over this time.
