Richard Michael Prevost

There are no words that can describe the loss we feel on the passing of Richard Michael Prevost. He passed from cancer on April 28,2025 at the very young age of 59. He was born in Prince George on March 21,1966.

Richard met Lena 37 years ago and there was no turning back for either of them. They are each other’s everything. They were married for 30 years and had 2 beautiful daughters; Christal and Megan.

Predeceased by his dad Lucien and sister in-law’s Linda and Lisa.

Survived by his mom (Katie); brothers Mike, Larry and Greg Prevost (Debbie); sisters Paulette Kelly(Robert), Geraldine Shreiner(Danny) and Michelle Hunter(Clint); Lena’s brothers Allan and Steven Andersen who treated and loved him like a brother.

Richard was an amazing husband, dad, son, brother, brother in law, uncle, great uncle and friend. He was also such a hard worker and loved his job at CIF Construction and his work buddies. He worked there for several years as a mechanic, heavy duty mechanic, crane operator (a little) and shop supervisor. He worked out of town for several years and he really liked the adventures.

Richard loved fishing, hunting, camping, working around his property doing a lot of inside and outside projects. Cruising in his river boat, old vehicles, new vehicles lol, watching hockey and NASCAR. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.

There will be a Celebration of Life which will be announced at a later date; hopefully this summer.
