She was known for her strong and intelligent mind, courageous attitude, and fierce love for her family and friends, and she wore her heart on her sleeve. She had a smile that could light up a room and a look that could rip you to shreds. This remarkable woman held her head high wherever she went and was incredibly proud of her children. The majority of her career was spent working for Telus and the Union. When she wasn’t spending time with her kids and grandkids, you could often find her in the garden or creating the most beautiful flower baskets.
She is survived by her daughters Chantelle, Courtney (Geoff) and Autumn; grandchildren Kaiden and Amora; her partner Dale; her fur babies and fur-grandbabies; siblings Todd (Jen), Tyrone (Cathy), Kelly (Clint) and Crystal as well as her many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her daughter Chelsey and her parents Gordy and Marlene.
A Service will be held at Hartland Baptist Church on February 7 at 11:30 am with a luncheon to follow.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Hart Pioneer Centre.
