Ruth was predeceased by her parents Victor and Martha (Reid) Munn; her siblings Ada Hovey, Glena Wilson, Dorothy Calhoun, Louise Munn, Leo (Brud) Munn and Clinton (Giggs) Munn.
She is survived by her daughter Linda and her granddaughter Ashley as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Ruth will be remembered for her feisty spirit and ready laugh. She loved a good story, enjoyed a bit of gossip and always carried a spark of mischief. Ruth had a special love of baking. She always had a cookie or her " best ever" date squares to offer with a cup of tea.
A Graveside Service will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Prince George, British Columbia on Tuesday December 16, 2025 at 11am.
A Celebration of Life will follow in the New Year to honor Ruth's life and the memories she leaves behind.
"As she steps into the light of a new dawn, may she be welcomed by the familiar arms of those she loved, reunited in a place where peace gently gathers everyone home."
