Sharon Rose Went

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Sharon Rose Went; affectionately known as Sharon or Rose. Surrounded by the love of her family, she peacefully passed away at Hospice on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, in Prince George where she had resided for most of her life; she was 76 years old.

Born in Williams Lake in 1946, Sharon was a loving mother to her children Arthur Went and Treava Went; who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

Sharon was a widow and the love she shared with her late husband, Arthur William Went, remained a cherished memory in her heart until her final days.

She was known by all who knew her as kind and gentle. Her beautiful smile could brighten any room and her warm heart made everyone feel welcomed and loved. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life; often gathering with family and friends to play games that filled the room with laughter and love. Sharon was also a talented crocheter and knitter; leaving behind a legacy of her special crocheted dishcloths!

As we say our goodbyes to Sharon, let us remember the beautiful soul she was and the immeasurable impact she had on all of us. Her memory will forever live on in our hearts and her kindness will continue to inspire us.

Rest in peace, dear Sharon, for you will be deeply missed but your love and legacy will forever remain in our hearts.
