Spencer was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Brother, and friend to all who knew him. He was a hardworking man all his life, up until retirement in which (in his words) he will “never lift another finger”, which he did not (lol). He did however always do a good job cuddling his best furry friends Buddy and Molly. He lived a life full of adventures- mostly hunting, fishing, and travelling across Canada. Anyone that knows him would be familiar with his many hunting and fishing stories, some of which may have had a few tall tales for embellishment.
Spencer travelled across Canada working city-to-city as a Pipefitter/ Welder until he finally settled in Prince George in 1978. He worked at Husky Oil Refinery up until his retirement in 2010. He was a member of local 56 for 50 plus years in Dartmouth, NS. He was also a champion skeet shooter winning many trophies & plaques. Spencer was born in Nova Scotia and was a proud Bluenoser but loved his life in BC too. He will be forever missed and deeply loved by all.
There will be a Celebration of Life at Pineview Community Hall (6470 Bendixon Rd, Prince George) on Saturday June 7th from 2-4 pm.
