Sherrie,
   I am so sorry to hear of Dean's passing.  I have a couple fond memories of Dean. One being that he loved baking bread and handing it out. So generous!!  The other memory is that Dean would catch squirrels then release them into the wild. So caring!!  My thoughts and prayers are with you Sherrie and The Ward family's!

We were so very sorry to hear about the loss of Dean. He was a wonderful, funny and kind man. We loved running into him usually at Save On.  Loved his glasses! Prince George's own Elton John. Thinking of you and sending our love your way.

Some of my favourite things about Dean were how generous he was and how much he loved my Grandma Sherrie. He welcomed people into his home with open arms and always made them welcome with his unmatched hospitality. He treated my Grandma like a Queen and it was amazing to see how much love there was between them. I am grateful to have known this amazing man and hope he is resting in peace looking down fondly at all his family and friends.

Char and I had the good fortune of knowing Dean for many years. He always had a warm smile, positive attitude even when times were tough and cared deeply about about those around him. He was a terrific business partner, mentor and most importantly a person we were so very lucky to call our friend. We will miss him dearly.

I met Dean about 12 years ago at Viewpoint RV and Golf resort in Mesa Arizona. We were paired through Grant Olson’s golf group.  Dean always had a positive attitude. He had a great smile. If you played golf with him he always had home made picked eggs, complete with salt and pepper.  Every year we put on a St. Patrick’s day dinner. Dean loved Molly’s Corned Beef and Cabbage dinner.  Dean and Lyle Pollard would be there to help setup and take down.  I will miss that infectious smile and laugh. Happy trails Dean.  David MacFarland and in Memory of Molly MacFarland
