Daniel Leroy Hicks

Born January 20, 1955 in Valley Forge, PA he was the son of the late Archie Hicks and Avera (Delores) Hicks. He was the warehouse manager at United Lighting and Supply Inc. He was a very hard working father who enjoyed bowling, fishing, and listening to music. He also enjoyed socializing and spending time with his family and friends. His grandchildren held a very special place in his heart.

In addition to his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Shorter and sister, Melda Hicks.

He will be sadly missed by his wife of almost 40 years, Terry (Fullen) Hicks; son, Jason Hicks; daughter, Christy Frear; three brothers, Arnold Walker, Jerry Walker, and Willard Hicks; two sisters, Yvonne Wiles and Darlene Roberts; five grandchildren, Emmalyn, Haley, and Ryan Hicks, and Brandon and Autumn Frear; and a host of many friends.

Visitation services with the family will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel. After the visitation, burial will take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, WV.
