Harold June "Ted" Blankenship

He was born on April 30, 1946 in Princeton, WV. He was the son of the late William Blankenship and Faye (Lambert) Blankenship.

Ted was retired President of T & S Contractors. He was a member of the UMWA Construction workers and Pope and Young Club.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Randy and Fred Blankenship; one sister, Opal Ball.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 47 years, Susan M. Blankenship of Princeton, WV; one daughter, Susan E. Blankenship of Princeton and one son, Harold “Scott” Blankenship and wife Samantha of Moneta, Va.; three grandchildren, Kayla Graham, Matthew Blankenship and Hunter Blankenship; two great grandchildren, Kali Smith and Marayah Smith.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 12, 2012 at 8 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Eddie Pettery officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m.

Honorary pallbearers will be employees of T & S Contractors.
