Iris M. Browning

Born November 26, 1929 in Verdunville, WV, she was the daughter of the late Spencer and Laura Adkins Mullins.

She was a beautician for the “House of Fashion” in Logan, WV, a member of the Ladies Auxillary and the Princeton Praise and Worship Center in Princeton, WV.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by husband James (Jack) I. Browning; son James (Tim) T. Browning; sisters Carrie Stewart, Ruby Farley and Anna Rogers; brothers Sterlie Mullins, Bill Mullins and great-grandchild James (Brad) Browning.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Connie J. Thompson of Princeton, WV; brothers Kennis Mullins of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Jim Mullins of Princeton, WV; sisters Charlotte Nielson of Florida and Peggy Mamula and husband Peter of Huntington, WV. Grandchild Derrick (Andy) Thompson and great-grandchildren Zeke Browning and Ocean Browning of Palm Harbor, Fl. Along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Iris will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel, 450 Courthouse Rd., Princeton, WV at 6:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Graveside rites will follow on Sunday, May 26, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Highland Memory Gardens in Logan, WV. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
