Jo Ann Farley Hammer

Jo Ann Farley Hammer, age 80, of Princeton, WV; passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2016 peacefully with her family by her side. Born March 27, 1935 in Bluefield, WV, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Lucy Farley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Frank Farley, Jr., Arthur “Pat” Farley, Richard Farley, James Farley; sister, Margaret Brooks and daughter, Robin Allison.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 38 years, David Hammer; brother, Phillip “Butch” Farley and wife, Vickie. Children, John Fuqua and wife, Beverly, Mike Hammer and wife, Assension, Doug Hammer and wife, Shellie, Lisa Wilson and husband, Penny, Stacy Uperti and partner, Dean Brannock, Debbie Hammer and fiancé John Fenton, and Lisa Hammer; Grandchildren, Jason Edmondson, Aaron Edmondson, Neil Edmondson, Krystina Allison, Kaycee Loucka, Justine Clark, Darienne Hammer, Whitney Fuqua, Zachary Fuqua, Kenneth Wilson, Kimberly Wilson, Sara Reed, Hope West, Jazzlee Molineaux, and Zoe Molineaux, along with her seven great-grandchildren.

A service to celebrate the life of Jo will be held 1:00PM Friday, February 12, 2016 at Roselawn Funeral Home, 450 Courthouse Road, Princeton WV 24740 with her brother, “Butch” Farley officiating.

Friends may gather with the family from 12:00PM until time of the service Friday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
