Violet H. Coffey

TAZEWELL, VA – Violet H. Coffey, 91, of Tazewell, Va, passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center. Violet was born May 14, 1919. She was the daughter of the late Luther Harless and Lena Harless.

Violet was a retired Postal Clerk for Kimball, WV. She was a member of the Pentecostal Holliness Church at Welch, WV.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Marion Harless, Buddy Harless, George Harless, Orville Harless, and Everett Harless.

Violet will be sadly missed by her husband, Manuel Lee Coffey Sr.; son, Buddy Donchatz of Columbia, SC; step-son, Manuel Lee Coffey Jr. of Bluefield, WV; step-daughter, Sherry M. Beairline of CoCo, Florida; brothers, Junior Harless of Rocky Gap, Va., Glenn Harless of Laurel Creek, VA; sister, Iris Williams of Tazewell Co.

Friends were received Friday, August 27, 2010, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home. Friends will also be received, Saturday, August 28, 2010, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Glen Michael York officiating.

Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
