Richard L. Drake, 85, of Prineville, Oregon was born in Mount Ayr, Iowa to Warren and Mary Drake.
He served in the US Air Force for four years and retired from the Southern Pacific Pipeline Company. He was married to Evelyne L. Drake for 20 years and raised three children, they later divorced.
Richard enjoyed raising and training horses, along with hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his sons Gordon K. Drake (Shannon) and Bradley J. Drake (Belinda), his daughter Cherri L. Furness, seven grandchildren, one great grandchild, his brothers Paul and Merl Drake, and his sister Mildred Johnston.
