

Visitation will be on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at Prineville Funeral Home 199 NE 10th Street from 10am-5PM, and Friday, October 5 from 9am-1PM. A graveside service will be held at Juniper Haven Cemetery at 2PM on Friday, October 5th.
Sheila was born in The Dalles, Oregon on October 31, 1941 to Glea Roger and Donna Inez Johnson (McRae). She moved to Pocatello, Idaho as an infant, graduating from Pocatello High School in 1959. She married Gerald Brantley in May of 1960. In 1965, Gerald and Sheila moved to Prineville where Sheila worked as a bartender for the Veteran’s Club for 18 years, the last 5 years as manager, retiring in 1999. Sheila enjoyed reading her Danielle Steele novels, crafts, plastic canvas, cooking, (especially baking), raising flowers, and jigsaw puzzles. She loved attending New Life Bible Fellowship in Prineville, loved her family, and socializing with her friends.
Sheila was preceded in death by her parents, Glea and Donna Johnson, her first husband, Gerald, her daughter, Jeri Jean Brantley, her son, Evan Brantley, 2 sisters, LaVonne Fowler and Diane Thornton, and her great-grandson Noah Brantley.
Sheila leaves behind her sons, Richard Brantley of Redmond, Oregon, Tom Brantley of Arlington, Virginia, and Paul Brantley of Prineville, Oregon. She also leaves behind her sister, Sharon Rich of Prineville, Oregon, eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
