Adrienne (Waldman) Enos, 70, of Providence and Warwick, passed away on July 15 after a long illness. Mrs. Enos, daughter of the late Helen (Stanzler) and Edward J. Waldman, was a graduate of the University of Rhode Island where she was a member of Sigma Delta Tau sorority. An award-winning educator, Mrs. Enos was a lead teacher at Providence Head Start for 25 years, and founded the Volunteers of Warwick Schools VOWS Program. She was also an accomplished pianist and piano teacher to private students. She was a member of Temple Emanuel in Providence and the Jewish Community Center. She is survived by her son, David L. Enos, and grandchildren, Lauren and Bryan Enos all of Long Island, NY, her sister Phyllis Waldman of Newton, MA, and niece Emma W. Thorne of New York City. Mrs. Enos was also the mother of the late Dr. Michael R. Enos of Boston. Funeral services were held Wednesday at Swan Point Cemetery. Shiva week will be private.
