

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Emile and Beatrice (Scott) St. Pierre; husband of Estelle M. (Lefebvre) St. Pierre for 56 years; father of Danielle M. Nelson, Alan L., Rory J. and Brian M. St. Pierre; grandfather of 11; brother of Doris Clark and the late Leon and Harold St. Pierre, and Edna Barbato.
Mr. St. Pierre was a master electrician and the founder of Al’s Electric and owner and operator of Al St. Pierre & Sons, Inc. He proudly served as a petty officer in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and was a member of the North Providence V.F.W. Post. His outstanding work ethic was unmatched and his sense of humor was enjoyed by all. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed the company of his friends and family.
A celebration of his life will be held Thursday, 5-8 p.m. at the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10 a.m. in The Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 1081 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence, followed by burial with military honors in the Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Al St. Pierre Memorial Scholarship Fund which will provide financial support for aspiring electricians.
