

Born in Providence he was the son of Albert and Grace St. Jean. Biological son of Joseph Kane and Gladys M (Miller) Goodreau.
Albert was a bartender for many years around the city. For many years at the Safari Lounge in Providence before it's closing. Everyone knew him as "Uncle Al" . He was a character and always the life of the party. He loved his dogs Buddy and "Lala" who he is reunited with. He was an Avid Boston Red Sox and Miami Dolphins fan. He loved spending time with his friends and family, especially his nephew Bobby Arlan. Loved watching his great nephew Bobbys son Bobby play out in his band.
Uncle Al is survived by his Niece Melissa Pitts which whom he lived with.
A daughter Angela Cipriano and his granddaughter Janiyah of Cranston. His sister Shirley Arlan of Cranston. Sister in law Carol Arlan of East Providence. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
He was the father of the late Laurie St. Jean.
He was the brother of the late Robert F, James H, Charles K, and William T Arlan. Ethel Cahir, Estella Hartmann, Mary Nardolillo and Virginia May Bernier.
Calling hours will be on Friday October 2nd, 2020 from 4:00 pm- 7:00pm with a memorial mass at 7:00 pm in the Russell J. Boyle and Sons Funeral Home, 331 Smith St. Providence.
