

Alice was the oldest of five children. Alice lived a long and productive life. She can be described as a hard worker, compassionate and a caretaker to many. One of her last endeavors was regularly volunteering at a local hospital.
She is survived by her six children Thomas of Warwick , Joseph of Florida , Paul of North Kingstown , Michael of Cranston, Patricia (LaBossiere) Narragansett and Annmarie (Durning) of Florida. She was the proud grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Alice was proud of all of her family members especially those who served in the United States Military. She was also a huge proponent of education consistently exhorting each person to reach their potential. In her mind every persons accomplishment was worthy of celebration and an opportunity to share her pride.
Alice was a graduate of St. Patrick's High School in Providence. She spent most of her adult life living in Warwick . She enjoyed traveling, visiting the seashore and a good book. Alice was referred to fondly as Nana or Great Nanny by the children. She was always available to assist and guide her family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2019, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home 142 Centerville Road (Rt. 117) Warwick at 9:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Catherine's Church 3252 Post Road Warwick. Burial will follow at the Rhode Island Veteran's Cemetery, Exeter.
