Warwick: Moran, Alma A. (Lanning), 85, of West Shore Road, passed away on Thursday at the South CountyNursing and Rehabilitation Center in North Kingstown. She was the wife of the late Thomas E. Moran.Born in Union County, NJ, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Miller) Lanning.Alma was a communicant of St. Benedict Church in Warwick and a member of the Daughters of Isabella.She is survived by her children, Thomas L. Moran of Lutherville, MD, Dr. Louis J. Moran of Warwick, Brian M. Moran of Copenhagen, Denmark and Maryanne Bevans, Esq., of Warwick, a sister, Elaine Litchfield of Rahway, NJ and six grandchildren. She was the sister of the late George and William Lanning and Eleanor Kelly.Funeral and visitation will be held on Monday, at 8:30 am from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am in St. Benedict Church, 135 Beach Ave, Warwick.Burial will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Benedict Church, in her memory would be appreciated.
