Alma Ripa

Alma E. (Pannone) Ripa, 95, formerly of Lowell Avenue, Providence passed away peacefully on November 7, 2017 in the St. Elizabeth Home, East Greenwich. She was the wife of the late Eugene T. Ripa, Sr.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Angelina (D’Agnillo) Pannone.

She was the loving mother of Eugene T. Ripa, Jr. and his wife Helen, Diane Ripa Smith and her husband Rick and Loraine Moore and her husband Bernie; grandmother of Michelle, Monica, Angela, Rachel and Lauren; great grandmother of Cole, Callie, Nora, Zadie and Lorelei and sister of Edward R. Pannone and the late Louis and Richard Pannone.

Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 am from the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Anthony Church, 549 Plainfield Street, Providence.
